The following major systems and components will be inspected

Roof & Drainage

We inspect shingles, rain gutters, downspouts, vents, flashing, skylights, chimney, other roof penetrations, and the general structure of the roof

Heating

We inspect the thermostat, age and condition of equipment, energy sources, heating method, distribution system, air output temperature, and exhaust ventilation as well as fireplace lintels, damper doors, cleanout doors and frames

Air Conditioning

We inspect the thermostat, age and condition of equipment, energy sources, coolant type, distribution system, air output temperature, and exhaust ventilation

Structure

We inspect the foundation, basement, crawlspace, and structural components for wood in contact with soil, active water penetration, indications of foundation movement, and general structural or safety concerns

Plumbing

Includes water heating equipment, supply lines, fixtures, faucets, toilets, tubs, sinks, drain, waste, vent system, and sump pumps as well as identifying water and fuel supply shutoffs

Electrical

We inspect the main panel and any sub panels, service entrance, service size, branch circuit wiring, GFCIs, AFCIs, lights, fixtures, switches, and receptacles will be inspected

Interior

Includes built-in appliances, interior doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, stairs, steps, landings, stairways, ramps, railings, guards, handrails, garage vehicle doors and door operating controls

Exterior

Includes wall-covering materials, eaves, soffits, fascia, windows, doors, flashing, trim, walkways, driveways, steps, railings, guards, handrails, porches, patios, decks, balconies, carports, vegetation, surface drainage, retaining walls and grading

Advanced Tools

Advanced tools are used on a regular basis at our discretion to take precise measurements and document areas that are difficult or otherwise impossible to view

Aerial Drones

Aerial drones may be utilized to inspect the chimney cap and steep or inaccessible areas of the roof

Precision Tools

Precision tools such as infrared (IR) scanners may be used to detect for hidden issues and take precise measurements

Advanced Reporting

Mobile, browser, and PDF friendly report will be available by the end of the next business day following the inspection.
